Overview
Jazz BrewCo is a craft brewery from Willerby, East Yorkshire, born, as the site says, from five friends, one shed and a love of real ale. The brand has real character and a growing range of beers, and it needed a site with the same personality rather than a generic template.
We built a dark, characterful brand site on the Headless Digital platform: an age gate on entry, a browsable beer range, a locator for finding the beers in the wild, and room to grow into events and a shop.
The approach
The brief was personality first. Craft beer lives or dies on its brand, so the site leans into a dark, warm look with the brewery's own artwork and beer names doing the talking. An age check meets the site on entry, as it should for alcohol, and remembers the visitor's answer.
From there it is easy to move around: the beer range, a Jazz Brew Near You locator, a meet-the-brewers story, news and events, and an Untappd link for the people who track what they drink. The whole thing runs on the same CMS as our other client sites, so the brewery can add a new beer or an event without a developer.
