The Kind of WordPress Work I Take On
Most of my WordPress work falls into two categories: building new solutions and fixing existing problems.
Building new means custom theme development, plugin development, and architecting WordPress solutions that go beyond the typical blog or brochure site. This includes headless WordPress implementations where the CMS powers a decoupled frontend, multisite networks for franchise or multi-brand businesses, and custom applications that leverage WordPress's strengths while avoiding its limitations.
Fixing problems means rescuing sites that have accumulated technical debt, resolving performance issues, cleaning up security breaches, and untangling the mess left by previous developers. These situations need someone who understands WordPress deeply enough to diagnose issues quickly and implement proper solutions rather than quick patches.
What I don't do is commodity work — installing themes, tweaking CSS, basic content updates. If that's what you need, there are more cost-effective options. My value is in the depth of expertise and the accountability that comes with working directly with a senior developer.
