Can we make one?\" I already knew I wanted to build a padel game with zombies in it, but Raff, who's 8, is the one who made it mega. He thought up the power-ups, fixed the ball physics, and added the level bosses and character customisation. We started on a Friday and finished on the Monday.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>It's written in TypeScript and draws to an HTML canvas, with no game engine and no runtime dependencies. That comes to about 10,000 lines across 43 files, forked from Ton Up Cricket: Zombies Edition, which gave it the same 16-bit world, sprite pipeline and horde. The whole game, sprites and sounds included, is 1.1 MB.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>The player above is part of the work too. Each game sits in a block in my CMS.
